Major Team Changes at Traveling Stories
Traveling Stories’ team grows with the help of a substantial grant
(SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – Sept 30, 2019) — Thanks to a grant from The Parker Foundation, Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator Christelle Jones has been promoted to a full-time position as the new Director of Outreach and Partnerships.
Jones’ new tasks will include developing & maintaining partnerships in order to promote the organization’s Social Enterprise as a means to increase Traveling Stories’ annual income. The goal is to provide StoryTents throughout San Diego County in a self-funding way. It’s a hefty mission and the team is positive Jones’ is the best person to help the organization accomplish its goals.
Another change in the organization’s HR is with Field Manager, Hezhi Naseem in her promotion as the new Director of Programs. Naseem has been running the StoryTent programs with Traveling Stories since May 2016.
